Is Celdran Case Another Circus to Bury the PCOS Credibility Issue?

Is Celdran Case Another Circus to Bury the PCOS Credibility Issue?
The Celdran case has all the elements of a telenovela that Filipinos can sink their teeth into. It’s got priests, it’s got government, it involves a popular cause (one am against with), and a flamboyant activist. This case will certainly run its course in Philippine courts.

However, there is a BIGGER development that, in my opinion, needs more attention than religious fellas getting offended. This one not only offends religious fellas – but every Filipino voter and taxpayer worth his/her salt.
What am referring to is the credibility of the automated PCOS machines operated by the COMELEC.
There already is a huge pile of material which raises questions on whether the automated vote counting device has already been compromised. I will leave it to the reader to read up on the PCOS issues hounding the COMELEC today.

The reason to automate the vote counting was to eliminate
dagdag-bawas
. At the rate the PCOS issue is unfolding – it appears that use of the PCOS has not eliminated dagdag-bawas and instead has automated the voting fraud.
The implications of PCOS voter fraud are tremendous if not existential.
For one, it puts into question the very legitimacy of the government which was formed based on the results of the PCOS counts. If the counts were fraudulent – the Philippines may very well have a fraudulently elected government in place – and all the monies disbursed by the Aquino administration are fraudulently disbursed.
It also implies that the act of impeaching a lawfully appointed Chief Justice by a fraudulently elected Congress with the support of a fraudulently elected President – was totally unlawful and a grand injustice to the entire country.
Refocusing the media spotlight on jail time for Celdran makes sense when there’s more money to be made in keeping the spotlight out of all these “elected” officials who could be guilty of wholesale election fraud, usurpation of authority, plunder,  and should be hauled to jail together with all the COMELEC officials.
