4 RESPONSES TO “THE LAW – FOR WHAT, FOR WHOM?”

  1. Jose Samilin 19 November 2011 at 9:17 pm #

The Ariroyo Camp and the Supreme Court’s TRO is honestly and seriously wanting justice for Gloria Macapagal Arroyo by the power of the law but in lesser focus on the cries of injustice sufferings of the majority population of the country. Both entities, apparently, doesn.’t really know what justice is due to Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Arroya is allive today not by Arroyo’s Camp nor the Supreme Court’s TRO, who might have cause the unexpected death of Arroyo, had she got into that flight. But by a phenomenon, seem to be short of a miracle from Almighty God, who knew exactly what is due for Gloria Arroyo, the franting of an extended life her, in God’s instrument using the due process of the civil law of the land. This can be gleaned from the pronouncement of the Philippine Medical Associatiobn that it is better fo her not to travel in that foiled flight.

God of love and slow to anger is manifesting its supreme power over the evil acts of the Supreme Court in obeying the law disregarding the preponderant evidence of injustice from the majority population of the country who are wallowing in poverty and in the state of hopelessness becuse they are powerless over the power of greed and corruption as GMA and her cronnies plundered the country while acting illigetimaly as the former President of the Philippines.

There has been a similar incident in 2003 in the death on a flight of the then Governor Tauese Pita Sunia of The U.S. Territory of American Samoa, for medical treatment in Honululu, Hawaii.

Does Gloria Arroyo ever knew that what happened to her today is better than her assurance to come home but maybe loaded in a casket back on the same flight? I really wonder if it is so!!

Congratulations for an excellent article on the true essence of democracy being justice, and true justice bring the spirit rather than the letter of the law. I wish out justices would read and heed your call.
    Regards,
    David

    mr. montelibano,
i challenge you and your minions to direct your
    querries, investigations and/or commentaries to
fidel ramos and his scalawag generals who were mainly
responsible for placing gloria arroyo in malacanang!
and protecting her while all of their past shenanigans
go uncovered. ramos, without question, is the richest president the
country has ever had. but because he is cunning and scheming
and is able to convince pentagon that, like macoy, he is
their lap dog, he gets away with plunder and abuse.
the generals had to take out erap.
why? so they could continue to plunder and
maintain their “for the boys” operations all over the country
where generals are assigned in cahoots with greedy politicians!@
    kawawang pilipinas.
and who did they take out? the estradas—who are now
determined to uncover the massive corruption and graft
    in the nation.
    wake up!

Bravo to Mr. Montelibano for a well-reasoned, well-argued, and excellently balanced view. The brilliance shown by Montelibano’s piece gives us hope rationale minds have not left public debate. Thank you, Sir!
